Not a comment, just the proofreader in me coming out. Which Beetle wrote “Please Please Me?”. I wasn't aware that the song was written by The Cars. Sorry, terrible joke. I was around when The Beatles started!

Sounds great! 1st question, my book is published by draft2digital, i've run a few promos with a few places and had my book signing, sold books to friends and coworkers, but I am not much of a social media guy, just opened my first facebook acct yesterday, to maybe advertise new book somehow? Suggestions to get the book noticed?

Listening to this podcast and your mention of careers outside the author world put me in mind of two authors. The reason, they had interesting "corporate" jobs before becoming authors. Below are their names, a little about their previous careers, and a link to their "about" page.

Anthony J. Melchiorri has a PhD related to Biomedical Engineering. - https://anthonyjmelchiorri.com/?page_id=2

Anthony sometimes co-authors with his good friend and our fellow author, Nicholas Sansbury Smith, who worked in the disaster preparedness career space. - https://nicholassansburysmith.com/about/

I've written a funny book. How much would it cost to hire someone to write a screenplay?
