Cool and fascinating post. I'm a classic radio nerd and one of my favorites is an episode of the series Escape featuring a very young Jack Webb. Called "The Ring of Thoth," it was an adaptation of an Arthur Conan Doyle story and a huge departure for Webb from the type of characters he would play later on, in shows like Dragnet.
That's sounds like a fun chat! I may have to listen to a few episodes over the next few weeks, but I'd love to hop in to discuss it. Kind of a fascinating thing I hadn't really thought about. Thanks for the link!
I really enjoyed this post. mostly because it makes me curious about how much of written history as been rewritten over the decades and how it has affected our beliefs. Thanks for all your books and audiobooks and thousands of hours of glorious entertainment.

Interesting! Where do you find these? YouTube?
You probably can find a lot of them on Youtube. I usually grab them from Archive.org and use them for my "The Soundbox" podcast. Here is a link to "The Ring of Thoth." I've been hosting occasional guests on The Soundbox, so if you'd like to enjoy a chat about old-time radio and your books, let me know! https://dn721505.ca.archive.org/0/items/OTRR_Escape_Singles/Escape_47-08-11_-006-_Ring_of_Thoth.mp3

If you have never perused archive.org it is like a great big giant rabbit hole of things from the past! I get lost in it often. Lol!
