ChatGPT wrote an interesting article. I could ramble on and on, but I’ll keep it short (ish).

The way I read you is a committed creative who continues to push forward despite life's difficulties.

I’m aware that you've been through some hard times. But, until now, you haven't given up, even though the temptation to do so must have been enormous.

Lastly, you are and will always be the voice of indie publishing for me.

Enough, for now 🙏

I can't say that I KNOW you, except from this blog, your Dan Kotler (and Alex Kayne) books and, of course, A Note from the Author (which I am really enjoying on a different level.)

I see someone willing to take risks, explore rabbit holes, keep his options open (and not just options, but theories about things too.) I see someone with a deep interest in, not just science, but myth; not just what we can touch, smell, hear, taste or see, but also what we CAN'T. Soneone looking for the deeper meaning in life.

I'd love to have a coffee with you some day, but I'm a little far away... 😅 If ever I'm in the Texas area, I'll let you know! (BTW, I have DREAMED of doing the vanlife - avid camper here.)

Hmmm ..... you provide a thought-provoking premise: asking readers to offer "our" description of you.

Well, I accept your challenge, but with the premise that I simply don't really know you and can describe you only superficially. But, that is a start.

It is clear to me that you are adventurous. Deciding to be an independent writer is, at best, a challenge and, at worst, is economic and professional disaster. Or, that is my supposition. I am a retired accountant and during my work years I dealt with authors and would be authors and that helped form that supposition.

Additional reasons for my assertion of adventurous as an adjective include the fact that simply deciding to set out on the course of being a novelist is quite daunting. Being accepted as an author in the traditional publishing world certainly takes determination and skill. Then, finding that channel crashing and burning and choosing to go the independent publishing route - obviously quite successfully - is again a sign of being adventurous.

Now, another adjective: determined. All that I above described as adventurous also is proof of determination.

Yet other adjectives: skilled, adventurous, willing to embrace the unknown, both in terms of topics about which to write and in terms of technology as a writer / publisher and, further, as a blogger.

I must stop now for fear that my praise will become too fulsome and thereby prompt you to (justifiably, to be certain!) believe your own press clippings with the result that your hat will no longer fit a swollen head.

P.S. A final adjective: successful.
