If you ask Zahi Hawass, that chamber in the pyramid doesn't exist and the muon technology is a bunch of hogwash. Oh, and anything and everything discovered in the pyramids was all found by him and only him.

He was on the Joe Rogan podcast a couple of weeks ago, and I highly recommend that episode if you are looking to be entertained for a couple of hours. Hawass is a frustratingly closed-minded person when it comes to the pyramids.

"Frustratingly close-minded" is a term that can be liberally applied to all Egyptologists. The whole idea of "settled history," like "settled science," is absurd to all but those who've decided it's settled for them.

Have you ever explored the tunnels under Las Vegas? (Speaking of scary and dangerous. Sounds like a magnet for you!) Neat post today.

I keep hearing about these, but haven't managed to check them out yet. I'll be in Vegas in November, but Kara will be with me. So I doubt she's going to let me put myself in mortal danger. Maybe next year!

Sounds like Kara has your well-being in mind. I wrote a post way back in 2012 when Buck and I took a mostly-hiking road trip to the Grand Canyon, Zion, and Bryce (incredible), with an impromptu side trip to LV. That's when I first heard about the underground. Topside was scary enough for me. Here's a link (it's on WordPress) to my Florida woman's take: https://hourglass.blog/2012/05/27/canyons-road-trip-las-vegas-the-skull-beneath-the-skin/
